Nicknamed “Shotime”, he has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The record for most errors committed by a pitcher in one inning is three, first set by Cy Seymour in 1898.
